Yoga teachers!  Co-director Candy Bell and Mona invite you to find time for yourself; and step into Fall classes feeling recharged, with supportive new friends on the teaching path. We are thrilled to announce this year’s Retreat will feature workshops with Wellness & Leadership, 500hour RYT program graduates!

Prepare for inspiration, motivation and creativity to flourish!

The intention of this Retreat is to support the purposeful work of yoga teachers in Minnesota and Iowa. Burn-out  is  real, especially for those teaching in under-served areas. This Retreat combines outstanding accommodations, gourmet vegetarian food, and shared talents of some of the most experienced and qualified yoga teachers in the region. 

All yoga teachers welcome - you do not have to be interested in joining the 2018 Wellness & Leadership program to attend the Retreat, but it is the first step in the program if you are.

Cost: $600 (all inclusive – credited toward 500hour program tuition).

Early Bird: $545 if paid in full with check/cash; OR, you provide a $200 non-refundable deposit prior to Labor Day.

Oct 12, 13, 14 (Fri-Sun) at The Oakwood Inn & Yoga Okoboji

Friday –

  • Check in anytime after 4pm; relax until events begin at Yoga Okoboji

  • 7:00-7:30 pm: Greeting and Introductions with Mona and Candy.

  • 7:30-8:45 pm: “Yoga Write Now,” with Robin Bourjaily, 500RYT.

  • 9:00 pm: Light bedtime snack served in Dining Room at Oakwood Inn

Saturday –

  • 7:00-8:45 am: Self-serve: Coffee, tea, fruit, granola

  • 9:00-10:15 am: Yoga Okoboji, with Janine Gustafson; topic TBA (75 min)

  • 10:30-11:45 am: “Yoga + Reflexology,” Stephanie Wendland (75 min)

  • LUNCH at the Oakwood Inn (After lunch: Group divides into two studios, following a break, switches)

  • 1:30-2:45 pm: (75min) / 15 min break

  • 3:00-4:15 pm: (75min)

Presenting:

“Yoga on the Table,” with Mary Steinbeck, 500RYT;  Hartle Yoga, Hartley, Iowa.

“Chair-time,” with Kathi Reeves,  500RYT;  Safari Island Community Center, Waconia, MN.

  • 4:30 pm: Closure with Mona

  • 4:30-6:30 pm: Free time

  • 6:30-8:00 pm: Gourmet vegetarian dinner served

  • 8:00-9:30 pm: Campfire activity, suggested early bedtime.

Sunday –

  • 7:00-8:30 am: Self-serve: Coffee, tea, fruit, granola

  • 9:00-10:15 am: “Spiritual Chair,” with Sue DeBord, 500RYT.

  • 10:30-11:45 am: "Wellness & Leadership,” with Mona & Candy

  • Noon: A yummy brunch is our closure activity!
